I thought it might be fun to publish a few facts
about our OS X Dashboard Widget NoodleBoard.
1. There are just shy of a thousand registered boards being shared by about three times as many users.
2. This equates to about 1GB per week of board data
3. Two percent of requests come to us via Apple Computer Inc. This actually makes them our number one user just ahead of Southwestern Bell and a bunch of US ISPs.
4. The average board size is about 3k when encrypted
5. Our busiest hour of the day is 2200 GMT
I’m currently working with some self-volunteered beta testers on a new version of the widget which should be out in the next week or so.
